Designed to reduce the load on the CPU and improve system performance, the PCI232INTE intelligent card uses a high speed RISC-style processor to manage data flow between the main CPU and external serial devices. The PCI232INTE is compatible with 3.3 or 5 volt PCI slots and a wide range of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX.
