Novell Cluster Services 1.6 is a reliable and cost-effective storage area network (SAN) solution that provides you with virtually uninterrupted access to your critical storage resources. In conjunction with Novell Storage Services (NSS) 3.0-also included with NetWare 6-Novell Cluster Services provides a totally scalable, always available, and completely manageable SAN solution. Using Novell Cluster Services, you can combine your network servers into a single, interconnected group, also known as a cluster. Novell Cluster Services supports up to 32 servers per cluster with as many as 32 processors in each server. This allows you to easily scale up to accommodate expanding storage requirements of your SAN, as well as increase the number of resources (applications, users, etc.) in your cluster. One of the primary benefits of server clustering is that if one of the clustered servers happens to fail, one or more of the other servers in the cluster can automatically and transparently absorb its workload. Your users will have continual, seamless access to their stored data, applications and other storage and network services. CORPORATE LICENSE AGREEMENT The CLA is ideal for customers who have a higher level of commitment to Novell, and hence receive more benefits. It also preserves the existing relationships between customers and their preferred resellers, offering a strong relationship with both Novell and highly qualified reseller partners.
