The MaxAttach NAS 4300 file server combines high-performance file sharing with the broadest interoperability and manageability in its class. With new data protection features, the NAS 4300 file server sets a new standard for data availability as well. MaxAttach Persistent Storage Manager (PSM) provides data protection by maintaining multiple "snapshots" of the file system. This allows system administrators to "go back in time" to restore files in the event of corruption or inadvertent deletion. Because MaxAttach NAS 4300 is Windows powered, it fully integrates into Windows NT/2000 network environments including support for popular network management tools, backup agents, and anti-virus software.
