Extend your networking reach to outlying locations with Intel Express 9500 Routers. These routers are easy to install and configure, providing the flexibility and scalability to support a wide range of routing needs. Their dual WAN ports and a console port provide resilience and easy migration from ISDN/IDSL BRI to higher speed Frame Relay or leased-line services as network demands increase. The integrated ISDN/IDSL interface can also be configured as backup connection for a higher speed primary WAN connection. Designed to meet your need for security, Intel Express 9500 Routers have an integrated stateful inspection firewall that helps protect the company LAN against hostile assaults and unauthorized access. An optional second LAN interface further enhances security by allowing you to create De-Militarized Zones (DMZ) or extranets that separate public servers from your private network. The powerful Intel Device View is provided with every router for easy and intuitive configuration and monitoring from virtually anywhere using Windows, Web, Telnet or command line interface. Connected to an HDSL2, Frame Relay, ISDN, or IDSL network, Intel Express 9500 Routers can be set up remotely once each router's WAN, LAN, and power cables have been connected. Extensive diagnostic and troubleshooting tools are included with traffic analysis and SNMP monitoring support. Intel Express 9500 Routers with an integrated CSU/DSU can be directly connected to a T1 line to reduce equipment cost, as well as the cost of configuration, troubleshooting, and management. To limit WAN costs even further, these routers support hardware-based compression at line speeds of up to 2Mbps per WAN port, allowing a maximum data throughput of 8Mbps. An integrated ISDN/IDSL interface allows businesses to migrate from ISDN or IDSL to a higher speed leased line easily and cost effectively, without having to upgrade hardware or software. In addition, the ISDN/IDSL interface can be configured as backup for a primary WAN connection, such as a leased line. This unique backup functionality adds an extra level of resiliency, enabling you to rely on Internet connectivity for carrying out e-Business.
