IBM is famous for its high standards. There seems to be no need to explain that all IBM products are provided by a guarantee and best service and support offered by best professionals. Now you have a special service package to make you feel even more comfortable choosing IBM products. ServicePacs should be ordered at the same time as the hardware and must be purchased within 30 days following the hardware sale. The service and typical response times that are provided with the packs, within 100Kms of an IBM Service Center, and during normal office hours are: up to 4 years of maintenance, with 2 business days in Depot repair, 3 years of on site maintenance with next business day response, 3 years of on site maintenance with 4 hrs response. PC Service Pac's (excluding Mobile PC's) include cover for the IBM monitor, keyboard, mouse and IBM options, where these are sold with the machine. (Note: flat panel display monitors are not included). ServicePacs are only valid for those countries where the service has been announced. Currently this includes most Western European countries but excludes all Eastern European countries. For the UK, cover is restricted to UK mainland only. Please contact your IBM representative for further details if required. ServicePac for Technical Support provides remote technical support, with the choice of blocks of solutions.
