The HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 1000 (MSA1000) Small Business SAN HA Kit is a 2 Gb Fiber Channel storage solution designed for HP's Small to Medium size business customers. This Small Business SAN HA kit is designed to reduce the complexity, expense and risk of SAN deployment. The MSA1000 is a scaleable, high performance storage system built with investment protection in mind. The modular design of the MSA1000 allows the user to easily add storage capacity as needed. With the addition of two HP StorageWorks MSA30 disk enclosures with space for forty-two enterprise-class drives, maximum storage capacity is 12.6 TB. With additional host bus adapters, a customer can achieve up to 7-host access to a single MSA1000 for storage consolidation. All necessary configuration & management programs are included and there are no unexpected charges for extra licenses as your capacity needs grow or as you attach more servers.
