The Trust PhotoCam LCD 2300 is a 2.3 megapixel digital camera aimed at advanced users, but its simple to use manner makes it ideal for those looking to get a foot in the digital door. The 1.8-inch LCD display is large, which makes it much easier to assess the quality of the snaps you have just taken. USB compatible, it connects easily to the PC. The images are stored on exchangeable SmartMedia cards, and the LCD 2300 can be expanded up to 32Mb, although it comes as standard with a 2Mb card which will store 15 high quality images. If, however, they aren't perfect, you can make use of the MGI PhotoSuite software to tweak and edit your holiday snaps. Operation is simple by using the mode and select buttons on the reverse, and the quality of the pictures belies the camera's price tag.
