Integrated Ethernet connectivity via the 3Com LAN chip means the DVD Network Dock II is the ideal solution when it comes to networking your Portege 7000 series ultraportable. Simply slot in your notebook and you are immediately connected to the network - providing you with cost-saving remote and asset management features normally associated only with a conventional desktop PC, including Service Boot and Wake-On-LAN. The DVD Network Dock II also features an integrated diskette drive and a DVD-ROM drive for the latest in PC-based multimedia, as well as stereo speakers and an integrated volume control. Desktop connectivity is provided by a serial port, parallel port, PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard; two USB ports for up to 127 devices each, video out, external monitor port, headphone socket, as well as audio in and out.
