The Symantec VelociRaptor firewall/VPN appliance provides easy-to-manage enterprise-class security for networks of all sizes, protecting the Internet gateway and subnets of corporate LANs and WANs. To provide industry-leading protection and manageability, it incorporates Symantec Enterprise Firewall/VPN technologies and a GUI-based console that enables easy local or remote administration. With its full-inspection technology, application proxies, and continuous system hardening, Symantec VelociRaptor's award-winning firewall architecture provides enterprise-class security for small and mid-sized offices and branch locations of extended enterprises. Its standard site-to-site Symantec Enterprise VPN includes the latest encryption technology, AES, to provide security at speeds three-times faster than conventional 3DES techniques. And, to extend its capabilities even further, Symantec VelociRaptor has an integrated full VPN option that enables secure remote-to-site tunneling for telecommuters. Symantec VelociRaptor is easy to install and manage. It is pre-configured and provides setup wizards that allow administrators to quickly and efficiently set network parameters and policies from a central console for both local and distributed appliances.
