Philips' extensive experience in the research and development of CD, amplifier, audio and video technologies can be found in the MMS130's ability to deliver superb audio reproduction and exceptional sound clarity. Active 2x3-watt (RMS) speakers produce an astounding 80-watts of output(PMPO). For real powerful bass, this system can be attached with a subwoofer. With more and more peripherals fighting for space on desktops, the MMS130's compact speaker size will bring welcomed relief. Compact in size, the MMS130 speakers do not compromise sound quality or aesthetics, reproducing CD-quality audio with clarity traditionally expected from larger, more expensive speakers. The MMS130 enhances the audio experience with its Dynamic Bass Boost(DBB) feature. At the touch of a button, DBB produces deep, rich and powerful bass at all volumes . The result is incredibly realistic sound for multimedia games and CD audio, from just two speakers. Convenient function controls, including a rotary volume control on side, on/off buttons and DBB features on front, are easy to operate.
