JVC has introduced a new series of personal stereos combining mature design, exceptionally high power for their micro size and ease of use. These are the UX-P7R, UX-P5R and UX-P3R. All three systems come with the speakers housed in wood-effect enclosures. Each is furnished with an elegant exterior that matches the widest variety of room decors, ranging simple to mature and casual. The UX-P7R is the best and most powerful in the lineup. It achieves high power with bi-amp operation. The subwoofers and woofers are driven by their own power amplifiers - 35 watts x 2 for the former and 15 watts x 2 for the latter (RMS, 10% THD). They allow clean power and tight bass. The UX-P7R's Active Hyper Bass PRO is equipped with double Active Bass Extension for both the subwoofers and woofers to achieve an expanded bass range as well as a flat overall frequency response, making vocals sound more substantial. It allows five-step control for more customized response.
