The Intel Express 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch features eight auto-negotiating 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX ports. Each port supports an Ethernet (10 Mbps) or Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) segment. The switch also has two slots for optional two-port media adapters (such as 100BASE-TX or 100BASE-FX).
