The McDATA Sphereon 4300 Fabric Switch (2034-212) is a 12-port, 2Gbps scalable and affordable entry fabric switch for IBM TotalStorage FAStT and LTO SAN requirements. It is based upon McDATA 4500 Fabric Switch technology and designed to provide an affordable, scalable and simple to manage fabric switch. The McDATA 4300 is designed to provide high availability advanced technology with a minimum number of components and concurrent firmware activation. High-density packaging and small form factor pluggable (SFP) transceivers provide 12 ports in 1U high rack space.
