Using an advanced RISC I/O processor, Wide Ultra2 SCSI technology and a 64- bit, high-performance PCI interface, IBM Netfinity ServeRAID -3 adapters sup- port your storage application needs. The ServeRAID-3HB provides three channels and 32MB 1 of battery-backed mirrored cache. ServeRAID-3L provides one channel and 4MB cache. All IBM ServeRAID cache is dedicated. Easily install, configure and monitor all ServeRAID subsystems across an entire enterprise storage network with ServeRAID Manager. Innovative technology lets you install new adapters, replace existing adapters, add or remove disks, redefine arrays and change RAID levels "on-the-fly" without shutting down your system. Triple redundant storage of vital RAID configuration data provides greater system availability.
