The Finepix 1300 is the very latest in entry-level digital cameras, combining 1.3-million pixel resolution for photo-like results with simple operation and a variety of shooting modes. With its fast performance and easy transfer of image files the FinePix 1300 is sure to become a stylish accessory for first time digital users. The FinePix 1300 uses a 1/2.7 inch CCD with 1.3 million pixels, in an array of 1, 280 x 960. Make the most out of the Intelligent Auto White Balance, which ensures you of high-quality photos in natural colors under different lighting conditions. It will select the optimal settings for the scene and type of light. Programmed AE gives you the accuracy of TTL metering across 64 zones. It's a breeze to choose your settings when you use the Mode Dial and Four-Direction Button on the back of the camera. They offer you full control over all the setup, shooting, playback and data transfer functions. Select the Auto Shooting Mode and simply point the camera at the subject and press the shutter button. The high-quality auto-focus lens will capture the image in sharp details. Be creative through a variety of shooting modes, including the Manual Shooting Mode with exposure compensation, Macro Mode for shooting as close up as 8cm, and the Continuous Shooting Mode (2 frames/sec, up to 9 frames at 640 x 480 pixels). Enjoy digital telephoto by setting the image file size at 640 x 480 pixel for a 2x digital zoom. FinePix 1300 is powered by four alkaline AA batteries that are widely available making replacement very easy. They last for a maximum of about 400 shots with the flash used half the time and the LCD monitor off. FinePix 1300 also takes optional Ni-MH rechargeable batteries for additional power economy. The FinePix 1300 records images on SmartMedia cards of up to 64 MB - that's enough for as many as approximately 360 shots! The FinePix 1300 has a USB digital interface to make the high-speed transferring of image files to your PC very simple. In addition to Single Frame Playback and 4x Playback Zoom, this camera offers Multi-Frame to display nine different images simultaneously. The FinePix 1300 complies with the Design rule for Camera File system, so you can use different cameras to record on to the same SmartMedia card. You can also choose Digital Printing Order Format (DPOF) recording for simplified output at home or at a service bureau.
