Designed for a workforce on the go, Enterasys Networks RoamAbout wireless solution offers enhanced user mobility, ease of installation, extended connectivity, increased productivity, and great cost savings. The RoamAbout family is based on two key components: the Access Point 2000 and an 11 Mbps 2.4 GHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) wireless Ethernet PC Card. A full-functioning switch, the Access Point connects to your wired LAN by a 10Base-T Ethernet connection and provides Layer 2 bridge functionality.
