The two-port IEEE-1394 CardBus Adapter features Texas Instruments' OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 host controller and Texas Instruments' new 1394a 400Mbps PHY. This two-port CardBus card gives you the capability to connect FireWire multimedia/consumer devices to any CardBus compliant PowerBook or Notebook PC Cable Extension. The card has a transfer rate of 100/200/400 Mb/s (Asynchronous and Isochronous data). It also features 32-bit CRC checking and allows Hot-pluggable connections to be made to a notebook.
