Belkin's Compact Parallel AutoSwitches are the most efficient and affordable way to share a parallel printer between two, three or even four users. This 4-port reversible parallel AutoSwitch allows four PCs to share one parallel printer or one PC to share four printers. This is a fully automatic printer sharing that requires no power or software, and switches to the appropriate computer on a first-come, first-served basis. The attractive compact design is great for reducing desk clutter, and status LEDs quickly indicate the active port. Belkin's Reversible Parallel AutoSwitches are specially designed to function either in multiple-PC to single printer, or single PC to multiple-printer configurations. This is fully automatic and reversible printer sharing; in the multiple PC set-up, these switches work just like any other autoswitch, polling the ports again after a timeout period.
