Plextor's 40X CD-ROM drive is the first drive which offers maximum 40 speed in full CAV with an Ultra SCSI interface. The UltraPleX 40max mechanism is based on the full CAV technology, which improves the access time and increases the data transfer rate far above standards. The UltraPleX 40max is compatible with all major operating systems and CD-ROM formats. The UltraPlex 40max allows the reading of CD TEXT information as provided on the latest Audio CD's. All packages include a multi-lingual manual and the Plextor Manager software. Plextor Manager provides many valuable utilities including audio capture and disk duplication.
