Business Communications Manager (BCM) delivers small/medium-sized businesses and branch offices the only converged voice/data solution in the industry, providing a choice of IP-enabled or pure-IP strategy. Leveraging existing Meridian, Norstar, and Succession 1000 investments, BCM has the capabilities businesses need including telephony, unified messaging, multimedia call center, interactive voice response, IP routing and data services such as firewall, wireless, and more. The Expansion Cabinet is a cost-effective way to increase the capacity of the BCM. Connection is via a DS 256 cable directly from the Media Services Card to the Expansion Cabinet. The Expansion Cabinet is backwards-compatible with earlier BCM Releases and supports all the available Media Bay Modules. The Business Communications Manager Expansion Cabinet houses an additional six bays for Media Bay Modules.
