The Microsoft IntelliMouse is the newest member of the mouse product family. The new wheel positioned in the center between the two buttons provides new functionality in Windows 95, NT 3.51 and 4.0, Internet Explorer 3.0, and Office 97 suite of products. All Office 97 applications will be compatible with the new mouse allowing the user to transfer zooming, scrolling and data zooming to the mouse. Scrolling in Windows Explorer can be done with the mouse - no more scroll bars! Quickly drill down into hot links on the Web (data zooming) and return to the home page by using the mouse.
