The CanoScan 8000F USB flatbed scanner offers resolutions up to 2400 x 4800 dpi - 4 times greater than 1200 x 2400 scanners - for images with incredible detail that maintain their quality when enlarged. Results are made even more spectacular with 48-bit depth processing for over 281 trillion possible colors (in/out). Its speed is just as impressive. A USB 2.0 hi-speed interface enables incredible scanning speeds - up to 2.5 times faster than USB 1.1 - perfect for handling complex images. To quickly and conveniently add negatives or slides to any project, a built-in 35mm film adapter scans up to 12 negative frames or 4 mounted slides at a time. Scan, copy, e-mail or file to PDF - with a single touch. Four external buttons make it easy for you to scan, copy, e-mail or file. For example: place your photo or film, press the external scan button - and the 8000F scanner takes over from there. The entire process is automated for true one-touch convenience. The 8000F scanner can handle your choice of photos or 35mm negatives.
