The LCD monitor is only about 45% the depth of a regular CRT with the equivalent screen size. It saves you about half of the desk space needed for a conventional monitor, and makes FP553 ideal for environments where space is at a premium. The image quality of FP553 monitor excels most of 15-inch LCD monitors. Thanks to high brightness and contrast ratio that provide great image quality, FP553 meets the highest demand of customers. Under each resolution and vertical refresh rate, Acer FP553 will perform Auto Phase adjustment automatically three times. With this function, users may have perfect display under different usage mode without any manual adjustment. Featuring easy-to-use graphic OSD control interfaces, the "On Screen Display" (OSD) adjustment provides easy-to-use color Graphics User Interface (GUI) that includes complete function of geometry and color adjustment, fits the images in full screen without distortion, and functions in all resolutions demanding no presetting of users. Furthermore, Acer designed two hot-key modes for most frequently used function "brightness" and "contrast", allowing users to make the adjustments without entering the control menus. Pressing the function key "left" and "right" to enter the Contrast and Brightness hot-key modes respectively, you can adjust the two settings of luminance easily.
